Bouchard's offers fresh, take-home desserts, pastas and sauces and made-to-order salads, pasta and flat bread pizzas. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, mother and son combination, Renee and Jody Bouchard have always enjoyed doing things together. They even attended Culinary School in Myrtle Beach at Horry-Georgetown Technical College together.
In the summer of 2007, Renee and Jody moved to Cincinnati. They were drawn to Findlay Market for its rich history and for its vibrant atmosphere. By October 2007 they were an outdoor vendor at the market, and in July 2008 they moved their business into the market house.
Custom, takeout pasta, salad and flat bread pizzas come with a choice of almost any topping imaginable, ranging from chicken and pepperoni to fresh basil, roasted red peppers, spinach and artichoke hearts with a choice of mozzarella, parmesan and feta cheeses.
Bouchard's baked goods vary with the season but often include berry, pecan and chess pies, fruit cobblers, peanut butter and sugar cookies. Brownies in addition to a variety of cakes, like German chocolate, breads, scones and white chocolate bread pudding are also available. And, for Fido, there are homemade dog treats.
Brocato's fresh pastas, sauces and butters are created daily from recipes tracing back to Sicily - with a modern twist. In the tradition of homemade Italian family dinners, each batch of pasta and sauce is made by hand, ensuring the highest quality and best tasting food is served on your table.
Pastas and sauces also vary but typically include the following selection. These pastas can be topped with any of Brocato's homemade sauces or butters.
