Madison’s at Findlay Market, it all began with a folding table of local produce
from their Adams County farm in 1996. You see, Bryan and Carolyn bought the
100-acre farm, naming it Madison’s Ridgeview Farm, twenty five years ago, to
share and grow with their sons, Mike and twins, Matt and Mal. The farm served
as the perfect next step as Bryan stepped into retirement from Procter &
In 2001, The Madison’s moved indoors at Findlay Market and today continues to provide Findlay Market regulars with the best in organic and local produce. Their seasonal varieties mean there is something new and exciting in the store every week of the year. From local strawberries and asparagus in the Spring to fresh Summer corn and peaches to the best in local apples and gourds in the Fall, you’ll always find nutritious, flavorful produce for your family’s table.
Now Bryan and Carolyn get a bounty of fruit and vegetables from the Amish and Mennonite families of Adams County (Ohio). Always delivered fresh and stocked immediately. In addition, Madison’s carries milk and cultured products from Ohio-based Snowville Creamery. Snowville Creamery milk and cream is sourced from their neighboring dairy farmers who use pasture-based, grass-grazing methods. You will also find fresh, tantalizing breads from Cincinnati’s own Sixteen Bricks Artisan Bakery.
As an extension of the Madison locally made philosophy, Matt started Madisono’s Gelato and Sorbets in 2006. Many unique and seasonal flavors, like Dark Chocolate Orange, Madagascar Vanilla and Tart Cherry Sorbet, can all be found at Madison’s Market every day. Fresh-from-our-kitchen lunch salads and soups are provided on weekdays.
Madison's Market has always been about connection. It started as a way for two parents to cultivate something meaningful with their sons as they got older. It became a way of life for the whole family, including seven curious grandchildren, who extended that desire for a meaningful connection beyond the family and their land. Bryan and Carolyn invite you to join their family at Findlay Market and experience the best in local and organic foods.
