For Jasmine Williams, cheesecakes are more than just a dessert; they are her life. Chico’s Cheesecakes officially started as a company in 2018, but the roots of this business run much deeper.
The name “Chico’s Cheesecakes” is inspired by her favorite person. Jasmine's maternal grandfather, who so lovingly was referred to as “Chico”. Her business was born from their shared love of baking the delectable dessert.
When Jasmine started her cheesecake journey, she was only the “egg cracker” in her grandfather's kitchen. Today, Jasmine does much more than just crack the eggs.
Jasmine grew up coming to Findlay Market every Saturday with her family, claiming that growing her business through Findlay Kitchen has made her feel like she was coming back home.
