Whether you're looking for a school field trip or a unique way to spend an afternoon with your friends, we've got a Findlay Market tour for you! Below is a list of our tour options. Each tour may be customized to fit the interests of your group.


Upcoming Tasting Tours


Juneteenth Tasting Tour

Saturday, June 20 | 12 - 1:30 PM

Enjoy samples from five different Black-owned businesses at our Juneteenth Tasting Tour! This special tour connects guests with Black entrepreneurs in our community, allowing them to share stories over some of their delicious food. Additionally, guests will get a full historical tour of Findlay Market in between sample stops.

Prideful Plates Tasting Tour

Saturday, June 27 | 2 - 3:30 PM

Our Prideful Plates Tasting Tour celebrates the vibrant diversity that makes our community so special! This tour features colorful and pride-themed samples from various businesses in the Market District. Plus, you'll get a full historical tour of Findlay Market!

4th of July Tasting Tour

Saturday, July 4 | 11 - 3:30 PM

Kickoff the Fourth of July with a tour of Findlay Market where we stop for summery samples along the way! This tasting tour is the perfect pregame to your evening festivities. Guests will receive five samples in addition to a deep dive into Findlay Market's rich history.

Findlay Friday Lunch Tasting Tour

Friday, July 10 | 12 - 1:30 PM

Enjoy a long lunch at the Market on a Findlay Friday Lunch Tasting Tour! We'll take you around the Market to stop at five different businesses for food and drink samples in between fun facts of Findlay Market history.

Free Bi-Monthly Guided Tours

Sign up for our free bi-monthly tours of Findlay Market! Tours begin at the Market Center at 10 AM on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. This tour includes a 30-minute overview of Findlay Market. We will discuss the history, what's happening today and the future of the market.

Self-Guided Building Histories Tour

Learn about the rich histories of 31 different buildings in the Findlay Market District, including the Market House! Follow the stops on the map and scan the QR codes on each building’s plaque to read their full histories.

This project was made possible by the expertise of local historian Alyssa McClanahan, and the support of America 250-Ohio.

Self-Guided Basic Tour

Download our self guided tour and walk around Findlay Market to learn about the past, present and future of Ohio’s oldest public market while you soak in the sights and sounds of this historic gem.

Please ensure your printer settings are set to print double-sided and flip along the short edge. Fold the guide like you would a trifold brochure. Use the map to lead yourself around the market. The stops in the guide correspond with the stop listed on the map. Each one highlights something new and interesting about our history and mission.

Guided Tours

Basic Tour

The Basic Tour includes a 45-minute overview of Findlay Market. We will discuss the history, what's happening today and the future of the market. These tours are available Tuesday - Friday between 10am - 4pm and are $5 per person. Are you with a school group or non-profit? Ask about discounted rates!

A two week notice is required when scheduling this tour.

Tour & Treat

The Tour & Treat Package is a step up from the Basic Tour. In addition to the 45-minute walking tour and discussion about the past, present and future of the market, participants will also get to choose an item from six food options from a Findlay Market merchant. The cost of this tour is $10 per person. The Tour & Treat option is available Tuesday - Friday from 10am - 4pm.

Corporate and Specialty Group Tours

Looking for a team-building activity or a great happy hour spot for your group? Findlay Market's got you covered! Your group will receive a 1 hour tour of the market and two food samples from market merchants for $15 per person. For an additional cost, add on a beer at Jane’s. We are happy to work with you to tailor each experience to the needs and budget of your group (minimum of 10 guests required for this tour option). Corporate Tours are available Tuesday-Friday from 10am - 4pm.

Building Histories Tour

Dive into the deep history of the buildings in the Findlay Market District on a Building Histories Tour. These tours are $5 per person, 45 minutes long, and feature seven stops at different buildings surrounding the Market as well as the Market House itself. We are happy to work with you to tailor each experience to the needs and budget of your group (minimum of 10 guests required for this tour option). Building Histories Tours are available Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM - 4 PM.
