Kelli Lane
Despite Kelli living in Cincinnati for the past 15 years, she only recently started coming to Findlay Market after discovering Cherbourg Cyprus, a nut-free and gluten-free bakery on Race Street. Due to a nut allergy, Kelli fell in love with Cherbourg Cyprus and consistently pays a visit to the quaint bakery whenever she is at the market.
Kelli started volunteering at Findlay Market in August of 2022; her first event being a tasting event during National Farmers Market Week. After that event, Kelli signed up for as many events at Findlay Market as she could - at least one a month. These events include Fall Food Fest, Trick or Treat at Findlay Market, Christmas Tree Sales, and more.
“It makes me so happy when I volunteer here,” says Kelli.
Kelli not only enjoys volunteering for our special events, but also visiting the market with her kids on a warm day. She likes to start the day at Washington Park and then take the streetcar to Findlay Market for lunch.
“I love bringing my kids here,” says Kelli. “Everyone is so warm and friendly.”
Kelli’s favorite aspect of volunteering is getting to know everyone, from the other volunteers to the merchants and Corporation for Findlay Market staff, and she is looking forward to volunteering for the 2023 events at Findlay Market.
