Interested in learning more about grant writing for your organization?

On Tuesday, October 21 at 6 PM, we are bringing in Amit Dutta, founder of GrantAlly, to help you navigate the ins and outs of grant writing, ensuring you’re putting your best foot forward to secure the funding you need to meet your goals.

In this workshop, participants learn key grant-writing strategies like:

  • Navigating the Grant Process – Understand grant cycles, where to find funding, and how to evaluate eligibility.

  • Write Strong Grant Proposals – Learn key components, craft compelling narratives, and tailor proposals to funders.

  • Measure & Communicate Impact – Use data, testimonials, and case studies to strengthen applications and reporting.

  • Build Relationships & Manage Funding – Engage with funders, track grant spending, and ensure compliance for future success.

This class will be held at the Findlay Market Corporate Offices - 202 W. Elder Street, Floor 3, Cincinnati, OH 45202. 

About Amit Dutta:

After more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, Amit launched GrantAlly to serve other organizations as an integral grant writing support system. He worked at multiple Cincinnati nonprofits in marketing, development, community engagement, programming, and facility management. Before coming to Cincinnati, he was an international entrepreneur.

He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and continually furthers his education at Purdue. Some of his favorite activities are dates with his wife, Lorna, spending time with his kids, volunteering, creating delicious meals in his home kitchen, and building community at his church.

Intro to Knives

Sharpen your knife skills with a class taught by experienced industry professionals!

This class will teach you how to safely and efficiently handle your knives while cooking as well as clean and care for them to maximize their lifespan. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with knives, making a series of different cuts, both classic and practical, and leave the class ready to level up your home cooking. This class will be co-taught by a Findlay Market employee and a Market Merchant.

Tickets are $70 each, or $120 for couples, and include one drink ticket from Jane’s and light refreshments from a Findlay Market business.

All vegetables prepped during the class will be donated to a local food bank.
